I guess it's about time to update things again.  We actually have some changes going on so it's been kind of crazy around here.  We found out that we are expecting another baby who will be arriving in December.  We are very excited though it was a bit of a suprise!

Alex started a six month course in computers which will allow him to make a career change.  So far he is really loving his classes and all that he is learning.  I am still working two evenings a week and will continue that until baby #2 comes and then I get to be a stay at home mom!  I am looking forward to that but I know I'm going to have my hands full!

Catie is 8 1/2 months now and she has decided that instead of crawling she is going to learn to walk.  She has quite the little personality!  Kids are amazing.

I love being a mom!

Time just keeps on going.  I started back to work on the 21st of January.  I'm working 3-11pm.  It hasn't been to bad so far and then last night was the kind of night I really didn't miss.

I was stuck in a back case until 10pm and when I finally got out of it I had enough time to pump and then I had to take care of a young woman who was in a car accident. ( I was on call last night for the first time since starting back to work so I didn't get home till 4am.) She had a broken femur but the worst part was that before the accident she was 8 months pregnant.  She lost her baby and because people weren't paying close enough attention to her, she almost lost her life.  It was a very long, tense case in which she got 10 units of blood, FFP, and platelets.  She will have a long recovery.  Keep her in your prayers.

Of course by the time I got home, Alex was at his wits end because Catie wasn't sleeping well.  We're all pretty tired today.  5 and a half hours of broken sleep later I have a lot of things to do and no desire to do them!

Catie is beautiful and growing like crazy!  I love being a mom.  Even if I don't get enough sleep!

It's snowing right now.  I love snow.  Happy winter!

Well, I am an aunt once again.  Joel and Jess's fourth child was born yesterday morning.  Her name is Jinger Neva (there should be an accent mark of the "a" but I don't know how to do that).  She weighs in at 6 lb 2 oz and is 18 inches long.  I thought Catie was small but Jinger is even smaller.  Jinger has a full head of thick black hair.  So thick actually that she could wear barrets!  I don't have any pictures yet but I will soon.

We got a foot of snow this weekend which has been the highlight of the week!

Stay warm everyone!

Here's a recent picture of our sweet baby girl.

We had supper at Mom and Dad's on Tuesday.  We had all the grandkids sit in front of the Christmas tree.  So here is Catie and all of her cousins.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season.  God bless.

Happy Thanksgiving last Thursday!  We had a nice Thanksgiving.  We were actually here in Indiana for the first time in 5 years.  Willard and Erma, as well as Jason and Robyn, came here for the holiday.  We ate a lot of food and did a bunch of nothing.  It was really quite nice.

Yesterday we had Catie dedicated at church so here are some pics of her all dressed up for the occasion.

Her hat and sweater make her look like a sheep!

I am loving being a mom and Alex is overjoyed to be a dad.

Now that Thanksgiving is over I've got to focus on Christmas.  We already have our Christmas tree up and decorated.  Now I've got to decorate the rest of the house and get the Christmas shopping done.  I should quite stalling and get to work!

Adios.
